Awake Chocolate Has As Much Caffeine As A Cup Of Coffee (VIDEO)

Yet another vehicle to get that magical caffeine into your veins.

Caffeine addicts, listen up. There's a new product on the market that'll keep you alert, and it's NOT a beverage. It's chocolate. (You may want to wait for your blood pressure to settle back down before you continue reading.)

Created in Canada by founders Matt Schnarr, Dan Tzotzis, and Adam Deremo, Awake caffeinated chocolate is, thankfully, now available in the U.S. One bar of Awake contains the same amount of caffeine that's in one cup of coffee (101 mg), but that coffee must be the world's most magical coffee ever, because the makers of Awake promise that after eating one bar, you'll be "ready to take a 53-hour road trip, cram for midterms, or hike Mt. Rainier -- up and down -- in an afternoon."

HuffPost Live host Mike Sacks ate an entire bar of Awake on air -- watch the video above to see his wild-eyed reaction.

Available in milk chocolate or caramel, the product comes in bars or "bites," which are smaller, individually packaged squares. Check out what Awake has to say about itself on its company website.
