Putin Steals A Selfie At Sochi

An intense stare and a tiny smile -- that is how Vladimir Putin seduced the iPhone cameras in Sochi on Friday.

The Russian president enthusiastically posed with athletes and fans during a visit to the Canada House, the welcome center for Canadian athletes and supporters at the Olympic Games.

Canadian ice hockey player Hayley Wickenheiser tweeted that Putin wished the country's athletes the best of luck ... except in hockey.

The Associated Press reports that Putin made several unannounced visits on Friday, including one to the American delegation.

"It was an unexpected visit," Scott Blackmun, the chief executive of the U.S. Olympic Committee, told the wire service. "We talked about mostly our impression of the games. He was very interested in knowing what we thought of the level of infrastructure. He was genuinely interested on whether we were having a quality experience at the games."

Earlier this week, Putin already paid a visit to the Holland House in Sochi. What country will be next to receive the honor?
