Lebanon Announces New Government After Months Of Deadlock

BEIRUT, Feb 15 (Reuters) - Lebanon announced a new government on Saturday after more than 10 months of political deadlock.

Former energy minister Gebran Bassil was appointed foreign minister and former health minister Ali Hassan Khalil takes over the Finance Ministry, according to a statement read out by Secretary General of Parliament Souhail al-Bouji live on television.

Parliamentarian Nouhad Machnouk was appointed interior minister, Bouji said.
