The manicures models sported on the runways at New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 were decidedly nude. While there were the typical fall nail color shades of burgundy, gray, green and navy present, designers took a different direction this season by pairing their heavier and textured fabrics with nude nails.
Celebrity and editorial manicurist Jin Soon Choi, who perfected the barely-there nails at Theory, coined the look the "ultimate lazy girl manicure." She even skipped the base and top coats at the show to achieve the sheerest wash of color.
Meanwhile, Essie cosmetics founder Essie Weingarten led the mani pack at Fashion Week with her flesh-toned polishes popping up at countless shows. Maybe it's time to strip it all off and go nude!
