On the eleventh day, it snowed.
After sunny skies and warm temperatures had made Sochi seem more like a city that could vie to host the Summer Olympics than one currently hosting the Winter Olympics, snow finally came to Rosa Khutor Extreme Park on Tuesday. The start of the second run of the women's giant slalom was actually delayed about 15 minutes by the falling snow. Later, the freestyle skiing men's halfpipe finals would take place amid the flurries.
