Olympian Sage Kotsenburg Gets Medal Made Of Bacon Because Wishes Do Come True (PHOTO)

LOOK: This Is An Olympic Medal... Made Of Bacon

Ask, and you shall receive.

U.S. snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg got another medal to add to his collection this week after a Pennsylvania-based meat shop granted the Olympian's wish for a medal made of bacon.

The U.S snowboarder took home the gold in slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics but was slightly disappointed when he received his prize -- because it wasn't made of bacon. So Kotsenburg took to Twitter to express his wish.

It seems someone heard him.

"We just got to thinking, 'Wow, we have exactly what he wants and he probably doesn't even know it exists,'" Ron Godshall, Godshall's Quality Meats' vice president for manufacturing, explained to Philly.com.

While Godshall's (turkey) bacon medal doesn't look exactly like the real deal, it's certainly a lot better than NBC's attempt.

Now, Godshall's just needs to get the edible medal to Kotsenburg.
