Load Of Crap Or True Fact? Waste-To-Energy Project Is Both! (VIDEO)

WATCH: This Green Innovation Is A Load Of Crap

Earth University, "a non-profit university based in Costa Rica that specializes in sustainable agriculture and natural resources management," has released this stop-motion ad where the message is quite literally the medium: it's made entirely out of dirt. They write about the unique work somewhat playfully and aptly title it "Susana and her Load of Crap":

This 90-second video animated entirely in dirt by artist Cesar Diaz Melendez tells the story of one graduate, Susana Fallas, who is helping communities turn their bio-pollution into an alternate energy source. Literally turning poop into usable energy.

According to Earth University, Fallas is currently working on an "ambitious new bio-digester project in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico."

If you're curious to see how the video was created by artist Cesar Diaz Melendez, they've also released a 'making of' video that you can watch here. And if you'd like to learn more about Earth University, you can visit their website here.
