Robbie Rogers Receives Inclusive Locker Room Message From Teammate Landon Donovan

LOOK: Robbie Rogers Receives Awesome Gay-Inclusive Message

It's been a little over a year since Los Angeles Galaxy soccer player Robbie Rogers became one of the first high-profile, professional athletes to come out of the closet as gay.

Since that time, Los Angeles Galaxy team leader Landon Donovan has reportedly been fully supportive of Rogers. Now, a picture that Rogers shared on Twitter, that has since been deleted, shows that Landon really does go out of his way to be more inclusive of Rogers in a historically heteronormative environment: a men's locker room.

The message can still be seen in a screen-grab on OutSports. It states, "Saturday after the game, mandatory night out... players only (no wives, gfs, bfs side pieces)."

While the gesture may have not been huge, it clearly meant a lot to Rogers, who tweeted the picture with the words "Thanks for including me @landondonovan @GBerlanti"

The times, they are a-changin'!
