The Weather Channel's Dave Malkoff recently lost his shoes to Mother Nature.
The reporter was in Azusa, Calif., covering the rain and mudslides there this week. His shoes were no match for the knee-deep mud in some areas.
"The one thing I was avoiding was wet feet," Malkoff said. That definitely didn't stay true for long.
