Jaden Hanson, Abducted 3-Year-Old, Rescued In Missouri

Amazing Rescue Of Abducted Tike

A 3-year-old allegedly abducted by his father was rescued after an eagle-eyed utility worker in Missouri spotted the dad's car, station KY3 reports.

An Amber Alert had been issued Friday around noon for Jaden Hanson. The boy was allegedly taken by force from his mother in the town of Bolivar by Jamil Hanson, his father, the Springfield News-Leader reports. Authorities said Hanson is not a legal custodian of the child.

A Springfield officer emerged from the home with Jaden smiling in his arms around 4 p.m.

The alert included a description of the white Hyundai that Hanson, 29, drove. The Springfield utility worker, who wants to remain anonymous, followed the suspect's vehicle to a Springfield home.

The good samaritan called police who rescued Jaden and took Jamil into custody, station WDAF reports.

"I was just doing my job. Everyone should take time to watch and take care of our kids," the worker said in a statement, according to KY3.

Police removed other children from the same home before arresting Jamil Hanson.
