What's the point of washing silverware if it's just going to sit in a pool of dirty water as it dries? That's what happens when you use some of those dish racks with the enclosed cutlery holders. They might prevent water from dripping everywhere, but that also means the water it traps is left to fester with your "clean" silverware creating a breeding ground for bacteria. No thank you.
