Hotel Points Were Meant To Be Cashed In

Sure, cashing in your credit card points for a new gadget or gift card is fun. But some may argue the best use of those hard-earned rewards would be a little R&R in a fancy hotel room.

Not all of us can stay in premier suites with the best views and the fanciest bathtubs all the time, but every now and then it's not a bad idea to treat yourself. Book a room solely on the points, (if you have enough) or combine points with money and live like royalty for the night.

Views like this will be waiting for you on your balcony...

A little tip to help get more bang for your buck: Use those points on stays in a foreign country. If you're visiting a country where the exchange rate is in favor of the American dollar, you may be able to get a better room or stay an extra night.
