The signature sound of March Madness is no longer cheering crowds, squeaking sneakers or ripping brackets. It is cowbell.
Stanford's excitable and expressive cowbell player emerged as an unlikely star of the NCAA Tournament during the school's upset win over No. 2 Kansas in the Round of 32. Spotted by the CBS camera crew on more than one occasion, this young man clearly raised his game on Sunday in a way standout Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins could not.

Even famed producer Bruce Dickinson would have to admit that this game could not have handled any more cowbell.
