Adam Scott Resurrects 'Step Brothers' Character For Affordable Care Act Video

Posted: Updated:

Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Adam McKay may never get around to that "Step Brothers" sequel everyone wants, but this might be the next best thing. In the most random bit of support for the Affordable Care Act yet, Adam Scott has resurrected his "Step Brothers" character, Derek Huff, for a Funny or Die video about the importance of health care coverage.

Scott appears in the clip alongside Jeff Probst and Mark Cuban (with singer Daughtry on the ol' Google Glass) to discuss a general disdain for health insurance. "Health insurance equals fear," Scott-as-Huff says, before running off a list of maladies and idiosyncrasies (spoiler alert: Huff wins Season 7 of "The Voice").

Watch the video above, and remember Scott's "Step Brothers" high point, a perfectly harmonized rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine" with Kathryn Hahn and some very game children, below.
