Bachmann Accuses The Obama Administration Of 'Lawlessness' On Obamacare

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) railed against the Obama administration on Fox News' "Your World with Neil Cavuto" Wednesday, criticizing the White House for effectively extending the enrollment period for Obamacare.

The White House announced Tuesday that anyone who started the health care enrollment process on or before March 31 would have a grace period to complete the enrollment process past the original deadline.

Bachmann argued that the "administration gets to have it any way they want to have it."

"All their promises about Obamacare, completely hypocritical," she said. "They didn't come through and now this? More of the same. Unfortunately, it is the continuation of lawlessness from the administration."

With the constant changes regarding the law, Bachmann added, "how in the world do they know what to comply with? Do you either follow the law as it's written, or are you responsible for watching Jay Carney's press conferences to figure out what the law is?"

Bachmann concluded the administration's motive for extending the deadline was political.

"It's about Obama trying to keep the Senate in Democrat[s'] hands in 2014. That's it," Bachmann said. "Not one of these changes has a thing to do with helping the American people."
