When it comes to banishing belly fat, David Zinczenko, author of Eat It To Beat It!, had some great tips to share with us.
First, David recommends understanding your food supply by carefully examining ingredient lists and calorie intake.
“Studies show that we underestimate our calorie intake by 94%,” David told us, “so be mindful about what you eat.”
Next, David recommends making meals for yourself whenever possible rather than eating out at restaurants. “There are crazy calories and additives hidden in restaurant food,” David warned.
Finally, crunches are a great tummy-targeting exercise at the gym. “You can’t spot-reduce, but you can tone that region,” David told us.
