David Zinczenko, author of Eat It To Beat It!, had a refreshingly unconventional response to the question of whether or not to diet.
“Don’t diet!” David insisted. "It's just a four letter word. You’ll quickly lose muscle and water, then when you fall off the wagon, you’ll gain back that weight as fat, not metabolism-boosting muscle.”
David doesn’t believe in strict dieting because the restrictive model is based on deprivation rather than rewards.
“When you fall off the wagon after a restrictive diet doesn’t work out, you’ll actually be worse off than you started,” he told us.
