Alleged Burglar Gets Stuck In Arby's Vent

Cops said Laquain Dashawn Guy was thinking Arby's, but eVENTually, he had to settle for getting rescued and arrested.

Guy, 22, was arrested after he allegedly tried to burglarize a Mullins, S.C. Arby's on Monday night, according to WPDE.

The alleged would-be thief was stuck in the vent for close to ten hours before being freed and then cuffed.

Arby's employee Jackie Williams said she called police after she heard Guy's screams.

"It sounded like, 'help! help!'" Williams said.

Mullins Police Captain Joe Graham said rescue workers cut the ventilation pipe that had ensnared Guy and pulled him out through the roof, according to WMBF.

Guy was airlifted to a local hospital, where he's recovering from dehydration and muscle injuries, according to WPDE. He is charged with second-degree burglary.
