Oh dear...
Fox News host Heather Childers was very excited to announce on Tuesday that the University of Connecticut Huskies were the new "NAACP National Champs." There was just one small problem: the Huskies are the new NCAA basketball champions, not the NAACP champions. That's...something else.
UPDATE: Heather Childers acknowledged the gaffe on Twitter, stating that she "just misspoke."
@TonyTerzi totally on me. I'm a huge sports fan. Was excited about #UCONN's win, misspoke but immediately corrected it. Great tourney!

Thanks @Dave4Golf! I immediately corrected myself. Anyone who follows me knows I love sports. Just misspoke. Fuel 4 late night comics ;)
