The woman filmed ransacking a Florida McDonald's while topless says she has very little memory of the incident, and that it was a bipolar episode.
Doctors confirmed that Sandra Suarez was neither under the influence of alcohol nor drugs when she stormed into a Pinellas Park McDonalds in March 24, wearing nothing but a thong.
According to police, the bizarre rampage kicked off after a nearly naked Suarez allegedly propositioned a McDonald's employee for oral sex in the parking lot and was declined, Fox Tampa Bay reported. Suarez then entered the restaurant, caused damage to registers and a cookie display, and helped herself to ice cream and French fries.
When police arrived, Suarez resisted arrest. WFLA reports:
"She took an aggressive stance, lunged at officers, bumped them with her body, attempted to grab the male officer's crotch and attempted to pull away from officers," according to the arrest affidavit.
The incident was captured on surveillance video and uploaded -- with commentary by employees -- to the Internet, where it became a viral sensation.
The employees who uploaded the video have since been fired.
Suarez, a mother of two, declined an on-camera interview with Fox Tampa Bay but told the station that she is in treatment for depression and suffers from bipolar disorder.
She was arrested the night of the incident and taken to an area hospital as a precaution, police said. Suarez faces charges of criminal mischief and resisting arrest. She was released on $7,000 bond.
The manager of the McDonald's restaurant released a statement:
"The situation leading to this woman's arrest was, at the time, surprising to all involved. However, the posting of the video was without authorization and inconsistent with my values and how we operate our restaurant..."
