Marc-Andre Fleury Had No Business Making This Save (VIDEO)

WATCH: Penguins Goalie Makes Unbelievable No-Look Save

Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury was on his back. He wasn't even looking at the puck. The net was wide open for Red Wings forward Daniel Alfredsson. But Fleury still managed to make an unbelievable shootout save on Wednesday night.

The game was tied at 3-3 following regulation and an overtime session. Alfredsson was up first for Detroit after Pittsburgh failed to score on its first shootout attempt. Approaching the net from the right side, the 41-year-old made a quick move to his left and faked out Fleury. The netminder had reached out to try to knock the puck away with his stick but missed and left the net open. Fleury was able to recover though, tumbling on his back toward the other side of the net and blindly reaching out to make an incredible glove save.

Fleury went on to stop Detroit's next two attempts to help Pittsburgh pull out the win.

"Players on the bench called it a (Dominik) Hasek-type save the way he put his glove out," Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said after the game, via the Associated Press. "I'm not sure I've seen a more acrobatic save from (Fleury)."
