Bringing a movie about a guy who doesn't know he is on TV to actual TV? Why didn't humanity think of this sooner!
A year after Paramount relaunched its television division, the studio announced that a variety of projects are in the works, including "The Truman Show." The 1998 movie stars Jim Carrey as a man who discovers his whole life is actually a TV show. The film was a hit at the box office and taught us how to use the soap to draw an astronaut's helmet around ourselves as we look in the mirror. What else are you going to use soap for, right?
Other projects that may soon come to the silver screen include the films "Narc," "Terminator" and "Ghost."
Paramount Executive Amy Powell told The Wrap, "We have three buckets of content we're looking at, and one of them is intellectual property the studio, which has been around for over 100 years, owns."
Details on the "Truman Show" TV series have not yet been released, but stay tuned for updates.
Until then, good afternoon, good evening and good night!
