Frazier Glenn Miller, Former KKK Member And Suspect In Jewish Center Shootings, Was 'A Loose Cannon'

Former Ku Klux Klan member Frazier Glenn Miller -- also known a Frazier Glenn Cross -- is now in police custody for allegedly going on a shooting spree outside of two Jewish Centers in the suburbs of Kansas.

As Miller's story continues to unfold, two reformed KKK members who knew Miller joined HuffPost Live's Ricky Camilleri and shared that even Klan members questioned Miller's character.

Johnny Lee Clary, a national leader in the KKK with the title Grand Wizard, said he chose to stay away from Miller.

"I wanted nothing to do with him. I knew he was a lose cannon," Clary said. "I knew good and well if I continued to be around somebody like that, I was going to end up dead."

Scott Shepard, another reformed KKK member, said that he felt he would be a "more violent person" if he spent more time with Miller.

"He stood out as a really violent person. At the time, I probably didn’t have enough sense to be scared," Shepard said. "I was indoctrinated into that life and I believed everything they said."
