Josh Romney Jabs Harry Reid With Photo Of Mitt Paying His Taxes

Josh Romney is offering Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) some evidence that his father does indeed pay his taxes.

The former Massachusetts governor and 2012 GOP presidential candidate's middle son tweeted a photo Tuesday of his father in line to mail in his tax forms, directing the tweet at the Democratic senator:

During the 2012 election, Reid claimed an investor at Bain Capitol had told him Romney "didn't pay any taxes for 10 years."

"He didn't pay taxes for 10 years! Now, do I know that that's true? Well, I'm not certain," Reid said in an interview with The Huffington Post. "But obviously he can't release those tax returns. How would it look?

While Romney dismissed the allegation, Reid pressed the issue throughout the last months of the campaign.

"Game Change" authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann later claimed longtime Romney backer Jon Huntsman Sr. was Reid's source. Huntsman, however, denied the report.
