Tom Scharpling needs money. So when Real Estate asked him to direct their video for "Crime," he decided to make a little extra scratch by subleasing portions of the video to anyone who would pay him.
The result? Pretty great, actually. What other music video has hipster-vampire-zombie-bros, Nick Kroll kissing a weird sculpture, Westboro Baptist Church protesters, and barbershop quartet costumes?
Not a one.
