Buzzfeed filmed eight moms addressing that question and their answers include body confidence lessons and a message to ignore "the haters." "When you're comfortable in your own skin, people feel that," one mom says. "Own it," said another.
The moms want their daughters to be fearless, have the confidence to achieve their dreams, and know how to get back up when they fall.
But the most important message was one they all had in common: "I love you." "I love you to bits."
