Lindsay Lohan Explains Why She Didn't Always Follow Filming Schedules For Her Docu-Series: 'I Had A Miscarriage'

Lindsay Lohan: 'I Had A Miscarriage'

In several scenes from her OWN docu-series, Lindsay Lohan had been shown turning away the film crew or refusing to come out of her room to film for scheduled shoots. In the series finale of "Lindsay," the actress explains the real reasons why she didn't make herself available.

"When the camera's on, I'm 'on,'" Lohan says. "If I know I'm not capable of being 'on,' that's why I would say, 'I couldn't film today.'"

Then, Lohan tells director Amy Rice about another reason she halted production. "No one knows this," she begins. "I had a miscarriage those two weeks that I took off."

Rice apologizes upon hearing this as Lohan continues. "It's a very long story, but that's why on the show, when it says, 'She doesn't want to come down. She doesn't want to come down,' I couldn't move. I was sick," Lohan says. "And mentally, that messes with you."

When she watched those scenes from "Lindsay," Lohan says it felt was like she was watching someone else, even though she lived it. "Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment," Lohan says. "I'm like, 'Oh, my god, this is really sad. Who's helping her?'"

Lohan says her mind was restless in the midst of all of that. "No one knows what's going on in my head at every second because I'm constantly thinking. My mind does not shut off," she says. "There was a lot going on in my life then."
