Mikael Granlund's Overtime Goal Is Going To Be Hard To Beat (VIDEO)

It's Going To Be Hard To Top This Unbelievable Overtime Goal

The only goal of the Minnesota Wild's Game 3 win was a beauty. After 65 minutes of scoreless hockey, Wild forward Mikael Granlund sliced through the Avalanche's defense and scored an unbelievable game-winner.

After bringing the puck behind Colorado's goal and into the corner, Granlund shook off a defender and cut to the front of the net. Then the 22-year-old managed to control the puck as he split through two more defenders. With Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov out of position, Granlund dove and fired the puck into the open net 5:08 into overtime.

"When you win a battle against that team, you need to go to the net," Granlund said after the 1-0 win, via NHL.com. "I just found a hole and tried to get [to the front of the net]. It was pretty much an open net."

Minnesota cut Colorado's series lead to 2-1.
