South Korea Releases Underwater Video Of Sunken Ferry Search

WATCH: Underwater Video Captures Search For Ferry Victims

South Korea's navy has released a video showing the harrowing underwater search for the bodies of the passengers aboard the ferry that sank near Seoul last week.

Shot on April 21, the underwater footage captures divers trying to smash a window to get inside the wreck of the Sewol. They are surrounded by oxygen and communication cables, and can see only a few centimeters ahead due to poor visibility underwater.

The divers face the grim task of pulling children's bodies from the sunken ferry, which was 476 passengers and crew -- mostly high school students.
