Dr. David Agus: We Need Health Leadership In This Country

The food and health industries make up one-third of the U.S. economy. So why is there such a lack of leadership in the health sphere?

Cancer doctor and researcher Dr. David Agus, M.D., Professor of Medicine and Engineering at the University of Southern California, talked about the need for strong leadership in health at Thrive, The Huffington Post's second Third Metric conference on redefining success beyond the two metrics of money and power.

Instead of focusing so much on finance and money, "we need to change the discourse to health," Agus said. "The only way we're going to change health in this country is if we change behavior."
