People Who Have Experienced Discrimination Offer Perfect Response To Haters

People Who Have Experienced Discrimination To Haters: 'Kiss My A**'

A group of people who have experienced discrimination has issued a strong statement to the people who judge them.

It goes like this: "Kiss my ass."

The Asta Philpot Foundation, an organization that aims to embolden people with and without disabilities, recently released a 2-minute spot that will likely empower anyone who has been on the receiving end of discrimination.

The video features individuals from varying backgrounds -- a little person, a man with a prosthetic, a gay couple kissing and a tattooed mom holding a baby, just to name a few. Each lip-syncs a verse that admonishes those who aren’t willing to accept people who are different.

"If you think can’t love somebody in a weird body," mouths Asta Philpot, founder of the organization, "you can kiss my ass."

Philpot was born with arthrogryposis, a condition that affects mobility, and has risen to fame in England for his support of sexual rights for people with disabilities.

While sexual rights remains a passion point for Philpot, the group pushed for a broader message of acceptance.

"All the protagonists of the film were volunteers eager to spread Asta Philpot's message of diversity, positivity and empowerment," Being, the Paris agency behind the spot, told AdWeek. "They were cast for their differences, which they were willing to affirm proudly."
