Mother's Day is around the corner, but moms should hear that they're appreciated year-round.
Heather Richardson, video editor of Movie Momma, agrees. "After becoming a mom, I realized how little we are recognized for all the things we do," she told The Huffington Post in an email. "I started something I call 'Momma Monday' where I say thank you to one specific mother, and highlight her -- or her story -- on my site."
Megan, the mom featured in the video above, thought she was just going to get a "Momma Monday" shout-out, but was surprised to see her close friends on camera telling her why she is an amazing mom, and the perfect one for her son.
"Trying to be the perfect mom is a task that cannot ever be met," said Heather. "But, when mom's realize that they were perfectly designed to be the mom their kid needs, there is great freedom."
We'll toast to that.
