Karl Lagerfeld Gives His Best Quote About Plastic Surgery Yet

Karl Lagerfeld is not necessarily known for his polite mouth. But if possible, the fashion icon has just given his best quote yet. This time, however, he doesn't single out just one person. Instead, he hones in on an entire population. Specifically, those who attempt to ... prolong their youth.

The 80-year-old opened up to German publication Zeit (as translated by The Telegraph) about hating being a child, not knowing anyone his own age, and his thoughts on plastic surgery:

"Nothing makes you look older than attempting to look young. You can fool anyone, apart from the young. The worst are the lip operations. There are people who have it done and I don't recognise them afterwards. They look like they flew through the windscreen during a car accident and were patched up badly afterwards."

Perhaps this disapproval of cosmetic surgery explains his infatuation/best friendship with younger women. You know, like Cara Delevingne. And we have to admit, we're on board with the whole aging gracefully thing. But jeez, Uncle Karl. Tell us how you really feel.
