Broadway veteran Brenda Braxton's highfalutin Harlem men's pampering palace has closed.
BBRAXTON, a barber shop that offered massages, manicures and cocktails along with a sharp haircut, shuttered on April 30 as it was unable to catch up on back rent and bills, owner Brenda Braxton told the Daily News Monday.
“I think I was a little bit before my time,” Braxton said. “Harlem didn’t show me the love that I thought I was going to get. People were not ready for this upscale barber shop.”
