Teen Who Can't Hold Controller Plays Minecraft With His Eyebrows, And It's Awesome

Of the millions who play the video game Minecraft, perhaps few have overcome more to participate than Alexander Kostov.

The 19-year-old has spinal muscular atrophy, so he can't hold a controller or use a keyboard, according to the description of the YouTube video above.

But that's no longer a problem. Thanks to technology supplied by video game charity SpecialEffect, Kostov can play Minecraft by moving his eyebrows. (Watch above.)

According to a post on SpecialEffect's website, Kostov had been using a combination of voice, hand and eye-gaze systems to play and navigate his computer. But he mentioned to the group that "another couple of switches in his tech setup could push his gaming to another level."

Kostov proved to be a natural and is now learning to design his own game, according to the video below. "I don't know what kind of game yet, but something that a lot of people can play," he said.
