The South African Retreat That Totally Rocks (Pun Intended)

The South African Retreat That Totally Rocks (Pun Intended)

When you're ready to trek back a few thousand years, head to South Africa's Cederberg Mountains for a luxurious (and rocky) getaway at the very Stone Age-sounding Kagga Kama Nature Reserve.

Here, you can sleep in caves, camp outdoors, hang out in luxury huts nestled in the mountains or even sleep under the stars.

Guests can also enjoy a trip to the salon or relax at the hotel restaurant's open-air boma when they're not busy mountain biking, scouting out rare reptiles or heading out on a safari. History buffs can spend time hunting down the 6,000 year old Bushmen rock art, which depicts ships and ox wagons among other things.

While we could go on and on about the beauty of Kagga Kamma, we'll just let the pictures do the talking.
