Idaho's two-term incumbent Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter faces challenges Tuesday in the state's GOP primary election.

State Sen. Russ Fulcher is largely seen as Otter's greatest competitor, but there are two others vying for the GOP nomination for governor: Bible expert Walt Bayes and Harley-Davidson enthusiast Harley Brown.

Rep. Mike Simpson (R-Idaho) also faces a challenge Tuesday from attorney Bryan Smith, who's been backed by tea party groups.
