The daredevilry (watch above) was to trumpet the 2014 Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach in Long Island, New York, over Memorial Day weekend.
In a press release obtained by The Huffington Post, Red Bull noted that this was all legal -- which unfortunately couldn't be said for the stunt pulled by the gents who BASE jumped from the top of 1 World Trade Center last year.
