No, this isn't more "Better Call Saul" news.

Bryan Cranston, the actor who gave us high school chemistry teacher turned drug-peddling murdering maniac Walter White on "Breaking Bad," has just wrapped up a deal for a new TV show -- only this time, he'll be working behind the camera. Cranston, who may or may not be making a few cameos on the spinoff show of his iconic AMC series, is shedding his Heisenberg pork pie headwear in favor of a producer's chair in a comedy pilot, which is based on the novel "The Dangerous Book for Boys."

The book is essentially a guide for guys to rediscover their manliness in the digital age and the show will follow three young boys growing up without a father who must creatively invent ways to survive on their own. Everything from how to tell direction with a watch to the right way to build a treehouse is included in the original "manual" aimed for men ages 8 to 80.

Cranston's Moon Shot Entertainment company is reportedly looking to team up with Sony pictures who worked with the actor for five seasons on "Breaking Bad."
