Megyn Kelly Bewildered By Guest Dinesh D'Souza's Bizarre Comments

WATCH: Megyn Kelly Baffled By Guest's Bizarre Comments

Megyn Kelly had to pause and laugh when her guest compared the United States to a "serial killer or a child molester" on Monday night.

Conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza appeared on Monday's "Kelly File" to talk about his new book "America: Imagine a World Without Her" and film, which imagine the world without America. D'Souza argued that President Obama believes that America is "exceptionally evil," and acts as if his job is to minimize the country's harm on the rest of the world.

Kelly later asked if D'Souza was accusing Obama of being "anti-American," and to explain why Obama would want to be president if that was the case. D'Souza responded with this analogy:

“If I was in a family and I believed my dad was some kind of serial killer or a child molester, I would still love him. He would be part of my family, but I’d do everything I could to prevent him from doing evil actions. I would think that would be good for the world and for my dad. So with Obama, he believes he is doing the world a favor and America a favor by controlling this rogue elephant that is the United States.”

“So America is the child molester in this scenario?” Kelly said, laughing. “I’m just trying to follow, Dinesh, I think we’ve fallen off the deep end.”
