Alaskan Road Signs Guide Drivers Past Mosquito Abduction, 'Falling Coconuts' To Grande Denali Lodge

Your drive to Grande Denali Lodge will be anything but serious.

The Alaskan hotel is perched atop Sugarloaf Mountain -- and while gorgeous, the drive to the summit is winding and steep. A few years ago, a hotel marketing consultant took matters into his own hands and decided he'd give drivers another reason to focus on the road.

The result? Hysterical road signs, which go far beyond speed limits and seat belt rules. Instead, they warn drivers of falling coconuts and abductions by massive mosquitoes, ideas from the "warped minds" of guests and locals.

If getting there is half the fun, we can't imagine what awaits at the lodge itself.
