Jon Stewart Finds The REAL Scandal At The IRS

The IRS scandal over lost emails has been generating plenty of heat on Capitol Hill. But on Tuesday night's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart said the real problem isn't that a hard drive containing the messages was supposedly destroyed. It's the fact that IRS commissioner John Koskinen admitted to Congress that the agency only keeps backups for six months.

"The government agency whose entire business model relies on forcing Americans to live as borderline hoarders only keeps their shit for six months?" Stewart said. "No. That's unacceptable. You never get a notice from the IRS saying 'please bring your records down to us... if you can find them.'"

And that's not the only problem Stewart discovered at the IRS. Check out the clip above for his takedown of America's least favorite government agency.
