Mount Huashan has been the stuff of legend for some time now, but thanks to DNM List we can all experience the awe-inspiring hike vicariously through this firsthand video account.

Mount Huashan is one of China's Five Great Mountains. According to Chinese mythology, the mountains were born from the limbs and head of the Pangu, the "creator of all." Located 74 miles from Xi'an city, Mount Huashan's reputation as one of the most dangerous hiking mountains has pushed people to climb it at night, so the danger that creeps over the side remains hidden.
