As expected, Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid were all selected in the top three picks of the 2014 NBA Draft. Cleveland kicked the night off with the selection of Wiggins, followed by Milwaukee grabbing Parker and Philadelphia taking Embiid.

The draft became less predictable after that, with plenty of trade talk and foreign players taking over the night. After some players were selected, they quickly found out the hats they were wearing didn't correspond to the actual teams they were going to play for on them. Shortly after the Philadelphia 76ers took him with the 10th overall pick -- and after talking to reporters about playing for them -- Elfrid Payton from Lousiana-Lafayette soon found out he was being dealt to the Orlando Magic. While wearing a Charlotte Hornets hat almost immediately after shaking NBA Commissioner Adam Silver's hand, Shabazz Napier out of UConn was told he was going to be traded to the Miami Heat.
