Sporting Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer tried to get a little creative with his goal celebration on Sunday, but it ended up costing him. After scoring against the Chicago Fire, Dwyer grabbed a phone from one of the photographers on the sideline and took a selfie with some fans.

Unfortunately for Dwyer, the MLS actually has at least one similarity with the NFL. He was immediately handed a yellow card for excessive celebration.
Maybe now there will be no more selfie goal celebrations at least in the MLS, but probably not.
