Kim Kardashian And Katie Couric End Feud, Pose Together At Hamptons Party

After a tense and public feud, Kim Kardashian and Katie Couric appear to be burying the hatchet.

Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, shared a photo via Instagram of her daughter and the journalist posing together at a July 4 weekend party in the Hamptons:

"Great night @kimkardashian @shellibird1 @christiebrinkley @katiecouric ! #hamptonslife," she wrote.

Kardashian and Couric butted heads last year after the TV host was quoted saying she didn't understand the reason for the Kardashian family's fame. Kim then posted a picture to Instagram of the gift and card Couric sent in honor of daughter North West's birth with the caption: "#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit."

Couric quickly clarified that she did not intend to hurt Kardashian's feelings, and was merely trying to analyze an interesting public trend:

“I’ve met Kim before and I think she’s a really sweet person. I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family," Couric explained, according to TMZ.

If this picture's any indication, it seems like the two have forgiven, forgotten and moved on to partying with some other A-listers by the shore.
