DeAngelo Williams Gives Man In Marine Uniform His Business-Class Seat On Plane

It was a first-class move with a business-class ticket.

Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams pulled off a patriotic good deed around the Fourth of July by giving up his premium airline seat to a man wearing a Marine uniform.

Williams tweeted his pay-it-forward act on Monday and earned praise from followers.

But some suggested his honorable intention might have gone for no gain.

Williams' move follows a similar seat-swapping act of kindness by actress Amy Adams. But celebrities aren't the only ones allowing our military to fly in style. In November, several passengers in first class gave up their seats to troops flying to San Diego. The Marines were finishing their journey stateside from Afghanistan.
