AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

A construction worker's bathroom break Saturday morning was less than relaxing when he was confronted with a snake in the toilet, ABC 6 reported.

Willie Harris told WBRC that when he first saw the snake in the toilet at the Hueytown, Alabama, office, he thought it was a joke. After seeing the 4-foot snake move a few times, he went and notified his boss, who promptly called 911, according to OKCFox.

Officer Alice Thompson, who responded to the call, used two batons to lift the snake out of the toilet by its head.

“I was holding it actually on the corners of the mouth, where the mouth was actually open at the time,” Thompson told WBRC.

The heroic officer released the reptile into the wild down the road.

Hueytown Police stated that the snake was a venomous cottonmouth, but snake experts disagree.

Wildlife ecologist David Steen writes that the snake in question is "clearly and unequivocally" a rat snake, a harmless animal that has no fangs and is common on the East Coast.

This article has been updated with additional information about the identification of the species of snake.
