Conan O'Brien Marks His 'Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda' Film Debut With Partially Obstructed Billboard

Conan Celebrates His Film Debut Like Only Conan Would

After nearly 21 years as a late night talk show host, Conan O'Brien will make his film debut in the Syfy original movie "Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda," the age-old story of a part-shark, part-octopus battling to the death with a part-pterodactyl, part-barracuda.

Conan is so happy with his performance in the film that he even put up a giant, partially obstructed billboard to generate some award show buzz.

Though it remains to be seen if Conan's billboard will get him the accolades he desires, the bigger question is whether it will be seen at all (because, as we mentioned before, there's that whole "partially obstructed" thing).

"Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda" premieres Saturday, August 2, at 9:00 p.m. ET on Syfy.
