LeBron Sends Cupcakes To Neighbors To Make Up For 'Hectic' Few Weeks

LeBron Asks For Forgiveness With Cupcakes

LeBron James knows the key to his neighbors' forgiveness: cupcakes.

Throughout the days leading up to James' "Decision 2.0," it had been somewhat chaotic in his neighborhood in Bath Township, Ohio. A day before James told the world that he was returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, fans started gathering near his home believing that his announcement was imminent. Even a few police officers were sent to James' home. It turned into such a frenzy that a Twitter account for LeBron's lawn was created.

Realizing that the commotion might have been a nuisance for his neighbors, LeBron started to make up for it by having the the LeBron James Family Foundation send them some cupcakes from a bakery in Fairlawn, Ohio on Tuesday night, per ESPN.com. Along with the cupcakes was a note that apologized for the "hectic" few weeks and said, "We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and we are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you."

"Two women from Baker Blvd Decadent Desserts rang our front door bell, gave us the cupcakes and said 'These cupcakes are from Lebron (sic) James. He sent them to everyone in the neighborhood because of the commotion surrounding his coming back.' We had no face to face interaction with Lebron, but nonetheless, it was an extremely kind gesture," one of James' neighbors told FOX Sports Ohio in an email.
